BIO
I was born in Tallinn, Estonia, and discovered a deep fascination for art quite late in my life. I was 19 years old when painted my first studies in oil. While I initially pursued studies in geology at Tartu University, my passion for painting eventually led me down a different path. Over the years, I’ve developed a style that blends realism with imaginative landscapes, often populated by tiny human figures in grand, open spaces. I’m largely self-taught and have drawn inspiration from both classical masters and contemporary artists. My works can be found in various galleries and in public and private collections internationally. I have made some brush drawings onto huge wooden stained boards. Mainly oak deadwood. Photos of these drawings can be found on old website.
Have been taking part in several art acivities through times (drawing courses, art symposiums and performances, group and solo exhibitions)
Member of the Estonian Artists Union and Estonian Printmakers Association.
